Openwork paper cutting: lace figure eight, master class. Openwork paper cutting: lace figure eight, master class Number 8 template for a postcard

Good afternoon, dear friends! There are only a few days left until the next holiday, the sun is shining brighter outside, which means spring has come and brought with it a great mood and positive impressions and emotions. On the eve of International Women's Day, I would like to invite you to make cards for March 8th.

We will create them mainly from paper, and of course from what is always at hand, using scrap materials. Let's be original and do all the work with our own hands beautifully and with love. So that everyone to whom you will give such beauty will be delighted with what they see.

Be sure to also make crafts for this holiday, and you can take ideas from this one, I advise you to watch it if you haven’t seen it yet. You can also take advantage of this excellent option and give awesome and cute

It’s no secret to anyone that in order to give or make some nice present to your beloved mother you need to have some kind of superpowers. You can do the work using a sheet of cardboard and colored paper. The symbol of the eighth of March is the number 8, so draw it and stick decorations on it.

The simplest option for a preschooler or schoolchild is presented in front of you.

Do you want to be more extraordinary and do more serious work? Then take this idea to heart. Use the kirigami or protruding technique. Decorate with quilling-style figures.

At first glance, the work may seem quite complicated, but believe me, it is not so. Moreover, you can cheat and do it like this, for example:.

To make such beauty, you need to print out the original template, if you like such a blank, I can send it to you, or find it on the Internet yourself.

Then, using a special cutter or stationery knife, cut out the desired patterns along the lines.

Connect the two parts together using glue, you will get a stylish and voluminous postcard for March 8th.

You can do it differently using this technique.

Using the butterfly and flower template, make the desired work, with the drawing placed in the middle of the A4 sheet, and then insert another sheet to one of the sides.

Write your wishes or congratulations. It looks simply wonderful and magnificent.

By the way, this is what happens if you combine two cards for two holidays. We made this boat with you.

The next version of the greeting card will be like this, let's make a basket of flowers, or rather a pot.

First of all, draw the blanks, this is done with a regular pencil.

You can take the idea from here so that you don’t have to invent or think about it yourself. For the little ones, make cardboard blanks for them to trace on.

The pot itself will be made from wallpaper strips, you can even take fabric.

In general, it’s a matter of your imagination and how old your charges are. Of course, for children 3-5 years old, the simplest version of applique made from ordinary colored paper is suitable, and older children and elementary school children can be offered to use fabric, for example felt, or foamiran.

Cut out all the parts and prepare for work.

Decorate with ribbons and congratulations with wishes.

I recommend giving this card to your mother or grandmother. Who will you give it to?

I also saw this idea yesterday, why don’t we make a card with a surprise, in my opinion this is a great idea, you open it, and there’s a gift there.

We will need:

  • cardboard
  • toilet paper
  • paints

Stages of work:

1. Take a sheet of cardboard and fold it in half. Cut an oval on one side.

2. Then open the sheet and draw a figure eight. And on the other half, draw the same oval, but don’t cut it out, but stick on pieces of toilet paper, draw on the head and legs, you’ll get a turtle. You can draw any other animal. Next, with light movements, depict the grass in green using watercolors or pencils or felt-tip pens.

3. Now take care of the appearance. To do this, cut out eight circles from colored blue paper, one orange circle, three green leaves, three stems and one tulip-shaped flower.

4. After this, fold the circles in half and glue them, as shown here. Do the same with the rest of the details. The result was such a creative and unusual work. In a labor lesson for grades 3-4, I’m sure this look will become a novelty; children will love such a miracle.

Even from plasticine and colored pencils you can make such magnificence with the smallest ones.

If you fold colored paper like an accordion, you can make butterflies.

Or get even more creative and make an application like this.

It looks great! If you like it, please share your thoughts and comment on this post.

Great ideas from paper and cardboard

Have you ever thought that in addition to cardboard and paper, you can use all sorts of things, for example, a real twig. Watch this master class and you will see what can come of it.

Stages of work:

2. Afterwards, make a bunch of flowers.

3. Bend your fingers as if your hand is holding a bouquet. Glue flowers and leaves to the branch. It looks cool and irresistible. I like it, what about you?

The next option will also be based on a palm, only we will plant it in a pot. Prepare all materials according to the list.

Or you can make such an openwork product, reminiscent of vytynanka.

Take this stencil as a basis.

Beautiful three-dimensional version of 3D postcards

I suggest you, together with a blogger, make such a three-dimensional beauty, it will look as if it were 3 D.

You can make such a card quite delicate and attractive using the trimming technique. It is quite simple, I showed you in more detail using the example of valentines. Remember, if not, then go ahead and watch it.

We will need:

  • stems made of colored paper in the form of strips
  • squares of pink, white and blue colors

2. Glue rectangular red paper onto one half. After the leaves and stem.

I really liked this option.

You can even make it from pasta.

Or using felt or foamiran.

Using colored paper and a suitable background, you can make something that resembles a 3D painting.

Step by step it looks something like this, first make chamomile petals.

Apply the desired background to one half of the base.

And then you decorate it to suit your style and design.

Take a closer look at this view, we also learned how to make these in the last article.

You can use satin ribbons, it looks amazingly light and cute.

Master classes for kindergarten and primary school

If you are still looking for templates for elementary school to make postcards, then first of all you can download them from any Internet resource, but it is better to come up with your own unique and inimitable model. After all, you don’t need a lot of imagination for this. Look, take some sheets of cardboard.

Stages of work:

1. And use one sheet to make a vase shape.

2. Use scissors to cut thin strips of colored paper.

3. Plus more mugs, that’s what happens.

4. Glue each blank, I mean strip, so that you get a petal.

5. Then connect these petals with a circle of paper. You will get a real flower, similar to a chamomile.

6. Make a bunch of them and then get creative.

7. Decorate cards with them and sign your congratulations on the back.

In the last article, I promised to show you one work, or rather its step-by-step instructions, which you can use for kindergarten or school. How do you like such a cute and yellow mimosa branch?

1. Take a sheet of white paper for the base. Make a square out of it, you can fold it in half, depending on how you plan.

2. Cut colored paper into thin strips.

3. Then make a decoration on each strip in the form of grass. And then twist each one in a spiral, that is, in a circle. You will get small mimosas.

4. Glue them onto the sheet.

5. Make twigs from green paper.

6. Twist slightly as shown here.

7. Decorate it approximately so that it looks wonderfully delicate and neat.

8. To make a bow, fold the red strip into an accordion shape.

9. And then crumple it so that it reminds you of a bow.

10. Glue onto the bouquet for finishing. This product looks pretty cool and looks great.

You can also use it to decorate a button, or basically anything.

Look, one of the students brought such interesting and unusual lilies of the valley.

You can also make calla lilies from cotton pads or napkins.

Or this option is quite nice and easy.

I also like this idea, but it is suitable for high school students to congratulate their teachers and girls on this international day.

In fine arts lessons, you can use ready-made blanks that are printed on a printer, and then watercolor is taken and the background is painted over.

Choose any one as a basis and create!

I took all the stories from the free access of the Internet.

You can search for yourself and find the right one for you.

Or use these, they are all cute and quite simple.

So take your pick.

Make your loved ones and relatives happy.

I also came across this picture using gouache.

An interesting topic in my opinion is the iris folding technique, have you ever heard of it?

You will need to print the sample first.

Then cut out the tulip along the contour.

And then the fun begins. Place paper of different colors on the back side along the desired contours of the template. You can glue it with tape.

The result will amaze you with its magnificence. Isn't it beauty?

But you can fold a rose like that.

This is the kind of work you can ask school students to do using plasticine.

Or you can even use disposable tableware, such as cups.

Come up with an image, and then create your masterpiece, which will be folded in half, and there will be wishes inside.

Or something nicer).

That's all for me, dear friends. Write your comments and reviews, I’ll be looking forward to it. I wish you creative success and victories. Bye everyone!

Sincerely, Ekaterina Mantsurova

Very often we have to prepare advertisements, posters, applications that involve numbers. It can be difficult to do this yourself without the help of stencils. On our website we offer stencils of numbers for cutting out from 1 to 9, which can be downloaded for free. The stencil must be printed to be used in your work.

Templates

Individual numbers

Video “How to cut correctly?”

Where can they be used?

Firstly, stencils of numbers from 1 to 9 will be useful to teachers and educators of child care institutions who often have to prepare various wall newspapers, printed advertisements, and posters with their own hands. If you have stencils for cutting, this will be easy to do. All you have to do is download the stencil, print it, attach it to the base, trace it and cut it out. The number 8 is especially difficult to write: it can be easily made using a stencil. So, the numbers are ready.

Stencils of numbers from 1 to 9 can be very helpful for schoolchildren. It will not be difficult to cut out the number 8 with their help.

Schoolchildren also have to do a lot with their own hands: prepare holiday performances, decorations for concert halls, and just paper crafts. A stencil can help them at the right time. All you have to do is download the stencils from our website.

Stencils for cutting out numbers from 1 to 9 will be useful for kindergartens and child development centers. In preparation for school, children study numbers from 1 to 10. The teacher can invite the children to make numbers with their own hands. To do this, the teacher must download the stencil, print it and offer it to the children. Children trace it on the back of colored paper and cut it out. You can cut out the number you are studying each time or give your children homework to cut out the number they have learned using a stencil. The prepared preparations will help children study tens and hundreds in the future.

The cutting process is extremely useful for preschoolers to memorize the shape of the number itself. In addition, fine motor skills are developed, children become more diligent and attentive. So, if we take the number 8 as an example, it turns out that it is easy to remember, but quite difficult to cut out. In the number 8 you will have to cut twice inside the outline, which requires special attention and accuracy. Therefore, for children, the seemingly simple number 8 is by no means simple if you have to cut it out using a stencil.

And, of course, not only educators and teachers can use stencil blanks. Parents can also study numbers with their child by cutting them out of colored paper or coloring them along the outline in different colors. Of course, this requires constant supervision of children, since they cannot be left alone with scissors. But you will get the long-awaited result. You, dear parents, just need to download the stencil and print it on paper. Then invite your child to place the number on colored or white paper, trace along the outline and then cut off the excess to create a number. You will see how delighted your child will be with the opportunity to make a number with his own hands. You will learn numbers very quickly, and use the resulting blanks to study mathematical operations, making up examples from them.

Thus, the number stencils offered on our website can be useful for both adults and children. They can especially help in the development of children if adults take the time to work with children on making numbers.

Any woman is pleased to know that her holiday table is decorated with dignity. This openwork figure eight can be an excellent decoration for your dishes on March 8th.

Finally, our hands “reached” the openwork eight of Zulfiya Dadashova. If for some reason you still don’t have such a miracle among your paper creations, immediately start cutting it out. After all, a magnificent, airy and very feminine figure eight will be a wonderful decoration for any holiday table. For almost two years I looked closely at her and sighed. Yes, there was no time. Besides, I'm not good at cutting with a knife. And this year I decided to give it a try.

Making decorations for March 8

To make such a decoration for March 8, you will need two A4 sheets of fairly thick paper of any color, a knife or scissors for cutting and patience.

You can download the full-size printable template by clicking on the thumbnail image below.

There is no need to spend too much time fiddling with the decoration. The author has already done this. We simply print out a template stencil and cut out the small parts first, and then the large ones.

There are two ways to make an openwork figure eight. Or print the figure eight twice and cut out each piece separately (which is what I did). This is, of course, a painstaking task and takes a lot of time. Or you can, as the author recommends, fasten two sheets together with paper clips and cut out two layers at the same time with an art knife. In the second case, you will actually spend less time, but only if you have a good command of the cutting technique. Inexperienced cutters are likely to encounter an unexpected problem: the top layer is cut, but the bottom layer (especially small parts) is torn.

In my opinion, the process is not that important. The main thing is the result, and the result is two beautiful eights. The matter remains small. First, we connect the lower parts of the parts, inserting the pointed ends into the slots, and then we connect the upper hooks together. The openwork eight made of paper is ready! Of course, you can further decorate it with beads or small flowers. This is where your imagination runs wild. The main thing is not to “overload” it with decor, otherwise the decoration will lose its lightness.

Happy carving!

Isn't it time for us to start making crafts for March 8th? After all, you need to prepare gifts for your beloved women! Naturally, no beautiful lady can resist a homemade gift. There is no celebration without flowers - so let there be a lot of them! This master class offers a voluminous, simple craft for Women's Day.

Materials and tools:

- double-sided colored paper of various colors;
- ruler;
- stationery scissors;
- nail scissors;
- compass;
- a simple pencil;
- glue stick;
- toothpick (quilling awl).

How to make a craft for March 8 with your own hands

The basis of our craft will be the number “8”. We take a sheet of double-sided colored paper, preferably thicker, fold it in half along the height, then again, but this time along the width, and cut it.

We bend the lower part (where the sheet is connected and not cut) by 1 cm. And on top we draw a figure eight with a pencil, so that it is more accurate, you can cut out a template on plain paper from here, and then draw a number on it.

We cut out the figure eight, open the sheet, we get 2 figure eights located perpendicular to each other. We bend the removed 1 centimeter of the sheet inward. And we glue the top of the eights together.

Now let's start making the decor. Cut a strip of green paper measuring 16*3.5 cm. Draw it into squares measuring 4*3.5 cm. Fold it like an accordion.

Once again, fold along the side 3.5 cm and draw an arbitrary leaf shape.

We cut it out, we immediately got 4 leaves, use nail scissors to cut the fringe around the perimeter of the leaf, this is convenient to do by putting 2 parts together in order to speed up the process of creating our craft.

We glue them to the middle of the figure eight.

From light green paper we cut 12 strips measuring 5*0.3 cm. We bend them a little at one edge, using any means at hand, for example, with the blunt side of scissors. Glue the curls between the leaves.

We cut a strip of light lilac paper 15*5 cm, which we draw into 5-5 cm squares. Fold it like an accordion and draw a circle with a diameter of 4.5 cm. We draw a flower, it is easier to do if we divide the circle with lines and draw petals along them.

We cut out the flowers and lift the petals using the blunt side of the scissors. Glue three flowers together to make one voluminous one.

Cut out a strip measuring 15*0.7 cm from yellow paper. Cut it into a fringe and roll it into a roll (don’t forget to glue the tip). We bend the fringe to make the roll fluffy.

We glue it into the core of the flower, which in turn is glued between the leaves on the figure eight.

To decorate the second craft we will use the same flowers and leaves, only for the flowers we will use paper of a different color.

Glue the petals.

And glue flowers onto the petals.

The third option will be decorated with other colors, and we will use the same leaves, only slightly smaller in size, draw 3*3 cm squares. Glue on leaves and spirals of different colors.

From two-color paper of different colors, cut 10 strips measuring 20*1.5 cm. Cut them into fringes and glue 2 strips of different colors together. We will also need 5 strips of yellow color measuring 20*0.7 cm. First we roll the yellow strip into a roll, then glue the tip of the strip with fringe to it and then twist the roll, finally gluing the tip. Remove the roll and bend the fringe.

Glue the flowers on top of the leaves.

Our crafts are ready! You can give it to mothers and grandmothers, girlfriends and sisters! Experiment with the color of paper and types of flowers; you shouldn’t overload the front part too much, since the craft won’t stand up due to the excess weight in front. Happy upcoming holiday!

On the eve of the wonderful holiday of the Eighth of March, representatives of the stronger sex prepare unusual, pleasant gifts for their beloved women: mothers, sisters, girlfriends. And what could be better and more expensive than something created by yourself. From plain paper you can make an original openwork figure eight - a symbol of the approaching women's holiday.
To work you will need:
sheets of thick paper,
stationery or breadboard knife,
scissors,
stapler,
carbon paper or tracing paper (you can also use a printer),
pencil.
First you need to print or redraw the blank for the future eight.
Using carbon paper or tracing paper, you need to transfer the template drawing onto double-sided colored paper. But if you have a printer at your disposal, then it will be much easier to immediately use it and copy the figure eight.
You need to fasten the two sheets with a stapler, and then carefully cut out all the internal patterns. This is the most painstaking and difficult part of the work. This will require all your patience and perseverance. You can cut out patterns using a stationery or breadboard knife.
But if you do not yet have the skills to work with these tools, then it is better to use nail scissors, thanks to which you can quickly and easily complete this labor-intensive work. But you should remember, in order to avoid damage to the working surface, it is better to place something under the paper, for example, a wooden cutting board. All that remains is to cut out the outer contours
Now fasten the two parts together using the bottom and top clasps. This will give the figure eight stability and volume.
The craft is ready. This voluminous card can be given to a loved one or used as a holiday decoration for your interior.
